Atreyu - The Neverending Story

Atreyu (played by Noah Hathaway) has been one of my favourite characters since I was a child and wanted to pay my humble tribute to him by spending lot of hours doing this fan art. I focused on create a character using a workflow aimed at the videogame industry, so I modeled the high poly on Zbrush, made the retopology in 3DCoat and Maya, Painted in substance and created the hair cards using XGen, xNormal, Photoshop and Blender.
Sharing this here feels like reaching the end of a journey in which I enjoyed, suffered and learned many things. After spending so much time in Atreyu, it almost feels like I'm leaving Fantasia behind.
